Hi Everyone!

As some of you might have noticed, ~SeriousFun has decided to retire from the post of the club's main admin. D:

Those who fear the club will close or become inactive, shouldn't worry. The club will continue to run as it has always been running, with some minimal changes of course.

The remaining admin have discussed it amongst ourselves and decided that we need one more admin to help us run the club. We are proposing a "fav enforcer" admin - someone who will ensure that the only artwork being faved is the original (and not the submissions in the club gallery). There have been too many members faving the club gallery, so we thought it would be nice to have one admin dedicated to enforcing that rule.

Of course, we would like to hear your opinions on the matter first. Do you all think its a good idea or would it not affect you either way?

I noticed that some other clubs add a watermark to all submissions which makes it clear that it is a club submission. That might help to reduce favs on club submissions.
One example would be the artisan crafts club who do a very good job at ensuring favs on the original: [link]
Might be worth a consideration.
If you need help with this, I could make a Photoshop brush (to be used as a watermark) for you if you'd like.

I definitely think it would be good to have someone in charge of that, and as the above poster mentioned a watermark might be a nice idea. If you decide you do need help, let me know

I believe it's an awesome idea, since people need to remember to

As if I would have the time to enforce deviants making faves in all my clubs to go to the originals! Warnings are placed all over the clubs! That is the main reason we went to journal submissions in *DisneyDreamers and *disneydeviants ~ the thumbs force deviants to go to the original; however, even with that, putting contest winners in the gallery and for featured deviations/IDs can still be a cause of favoring in the gallery. Too bad. Who has that time to waste of dA.

It shouldn't have to be enforced and it's sad that it does, but if it has to be enforced then go for it. What ever it takes to make that rule common sense.
